At INSITU Machining we have state-of-the-art Laser Measuring Equipment and certified Technicians to measure and survey your critical equipment. We can measure multiple elevations, planes and bores in one set up. When required we can install numerous nests (Alignment points), move to the opposite side of the equipment, tie into the documented points, reacquiring the previous alignment and continue to measure required points.
On some of our larger machining projects we will bring one of our Lasers to guarantee that our milling or line boring equipment is set exactly where it needs to be, guaranteeing success.
Laser metrology harnesses the power of laser technology to obtain physical measurements of certain objects with exceptional precision. Today, many industries rely on laser metrology to measure parameters like distance, displacement, vibration, surface profile and alignment with remarkable sensitivity.
